Donor-Powered Progress Against Childhood Cancer

Last month, ELEVATE made its first-ever research investment—thanks to your incredible support.

Justin Spoon, Rhabdomyosarcoma research investment

Fundraisers like Cruising Out Childhood Cancer, led by Keaton’s family–an Elevate kid Representative, and the Match the Donation campaign in honor of Justin Spoon made this rhabdomyosarcoma research possible.

A heartfelt thanks to the generous donor who matched gifts—you're helping drive critical research for children and adolescents facing rhabdomyosarcoma and osteosarcoma.

Advocating for More Research Dollars

Elevate, a proud founding member of the Indiana Pediatric Cancer Coalition (IPCC) has joined forces with other families and organizations to help educate legislators about the need for new treatments for kids with cancer—HB1453 in Indiana would create a fund to grant money for novel therapy development for pediatric cancer!

This legislation was signed this past Friday by the Governor and is now a law! Elevate is committed to uniting families and foundations to drive similar efforts in other states, creating real, nationwide change.

Let’s keep the momentum going and let kids be kids!

Kidney Cancer Awareness Month
Thanks to your generous support, ELEVATE is delivering on providing high-quality educational resources.
Wilms tumor and genetic testing.

To kick off Kidney Cancer Awareness Month, we partnered with genetic expert Joyce Turner, MS, CGC, of Children's National in DC and our Elevate Wilms workgroup to launch a new webinar: Understanding the Genetic Puzzle of Wilms Tumor—now live on ELEVATE’s YouTube channel.

This resource empowers advocates, educates families, and equips providers with the latest information to support child-centered care and drive progress toward more effective, less toxic treatments for better outcomes.

Amy Meinch. Kalina. Wilms tumor.

Elevate’s Board Secretary, Amy Meinch was deeply humbled by the outpouring of support from those who contributed to the March Action campaign in honor of what should have been her daughter Kalina’s 12th birthday. Your generosity turned a moment of remembrance into a powerful force for good.

We are equally overwhelmed by those who have chosen to make monthly recurring donations. Your ongoing support provides the stability needed to expedite best care possible for those diagnosed with childhood cancers, like Wilms tumor.

Thank you monthly donors to Elevate.

If you haven’t yet, please consider joining this incredible group of monthly donors. Your continued support ensures we can let kids be kids—all year long.

Elevate Voices

Thanks to your generous support, Elevate and our community are making powerful progress—equipping advocates to speak louder, act bolder, and drive real change. Through Elevate Voices, those impacted by childhood cancer are sharing their stories, lifting one another up, and inspiring our entire community to do more, together, so we empower, advocate and invest!

Mackenzie Wilmoth, desmoid sarcoma. Advocacy, musician, pharmacist.

This month, we heard from Mackenzie—a sarcoma survivor—who bravely shared her story alongside her mom, Bonnie. Bonnie flew home from halfway around the world upon learning of her daughter’s diagnosis: a malignant desmoid tumor.

Their Elevate Voice is a powerful testament to why every voice matters—and how, together, we can unite support of children and adolescents diagnosed with childhood cancer.
